About

Built by a technician, for service teams

hakapesy wasn’t born in a meeting room. It was born in the field: in boiler rooms, commercial kitchens and the service van.

The story

The software I was missing

As a building services technician I saw the same thing for years: faults come in by phone, work orders stay in the van, maintenance lives in people’s heads. Existing software was either too complicated or not built for a service company’s day.

So I built what I wanted to use: big buttons, few clicks, the machine at the centre. If it doesn’t work in the field, it doesn’t go in.

The hakapesy Today screen
“If a tired technician can’t fill it in one-handed after a job, the software is wrong, not the technician.”

The name

Why hakapesy?

From “easy-peasy”. The logo is a pea pod with three peas – red, yellow, green – like the states of a job. Our tagline: field work, easy-peasy.
